100Plus is the leading AI-assisted Remote Patient Monitoring platform for physician practices.
The 100Plus solution empowers physicians and qualified providers to manage their patients with chronic conditions remotely, proactively engage them to avoid episodic care, and drive a higher quality of life.
I joined 100Plus as the company's first designer at the beginning of 2020. While challenging, this put me in an ideal position to lead the company's branding, marketing, and product offerings.
The 100Plus solution includes Esper, a powerful AI-assisted technology that acts as a virtual physician assistant to enable better care coordination and patient engagement.
The existing site was propped up by a handful of people at different times to quickly get something online and meet the shifting marketing needs of the company at the time. This meant there was a lack of consistent and clear messaging, and the look and feel of the site felt disjointed and unfinished. In addition the engineering team was tasked with site maintenance so any changes or updates had to be done by them, with functionality constrained by the time and resources available.
My role for the project was to own the site end-to-end. This meant not only design, but also the build, and maintenance. I chose to switch the architecture of the site from Wordpress to Webflow, as this new platform is perfectly suited to the scope of the site, and offers speed and advanced design functionality.
I worked with the marketing team to shape the messaging of the site, quickly iterating on design to provide visuals and push the ideation process forward. Using Figma, and Webflow in conjunction was an amazingly fluid and collaborative workflow, reducing churn by giving full transparency into the status of the project.
I created a site design with a refined and sophisticated look and feel, with an emphasis on value propositions, and patient outcomes. Often the first point of contact for potential clients, and investors, the new site was a huge improvement in establishing our brand, and building trust.
With responsibility for the site being moved over to design and marketing, engineering was no longer required for site maintenance, freeing up their resources for core product development. Because of the closed loop between design and development, I was able to quickly implement updates to the site, and fulfill marketing requests often in less than a day.
The new site was extremely performant improving from 52 to 94 on the home page when measured using Google Page Insights rating, and the bounce rate reduced by 35% in less than a week after launch.
Often the domain of entire teams at larger companies, I took the initiative to design and build a design system. This investment helped speed product design iteration, ensure consistency, and support engineering during the handoff process.
Presentations are an essential tool for any business, and in our case the need to clearly present information and build trust with investors was paramount. I was able to provide the information architecture, and polish to bring this up to a high level.
