Littlebird
Littlebird is an early-stage startup building a screenless wearable for kids that provides real-time tracking and safety alerts. My role was to design the companion app used by parents and caregivers. In addition I designed and built a refreshed version of the marketing website to present a more mature brand to customers.

Littlebird App
With the insight that 77% of parents worry about their child’s safety and wellbeing on a regular basis I set about to craft a delightful app that solves the major pain points of parenting and seamlessly integrates with the Littlebird safety tracker.
My role included user discovery and interviews, defining product requirements, UX flows in collaboration with engineering, and designing a UI that captures the Littlebird aesthetic and pushes the brand forward.
Designed to work with the lightweight and distraction free wearable tracker, the outcome is a focused, and intuitive experience, where parents can easily know the whereabouts and status of their children, stay synced with caregivers, and minimize their daily stress with timely notifications and alerts.
Parents are most concerned about their children’s safety in emergencies, getting lost, or facing stranger danger—especially in settings like school, busy public areas, and while traveling.
Handoff
One of the most frequent events in a parents day is to transfer the responsibility for their child. Whether to another family member, friend, or guardian, out of sight does not mean out of mind. The in app handoff flow ensures all parties are in agreement of their roles and toggles location sharing, letting the parent quickly view the location of their child and who they are with.
Website
Littlebird needed a website that would highlight its innovative technology and build trust with potential customers. I designed and built a version of the site that showcases the product and the lifestyle improvements it offers.
